The Sunmoon project is based in the Maluti Mountain foothills, Eastern Free State, South Africa. Sunmoon Lodge is settled on the slope of the mountain, facing north over a spectacular sandstone valley that has held human life for 100 000 years. It is a place of power where one can connect with nature and revitalize the spirit. Sunmoon Lodge, holds a space for private groups who want to explore red path teachings such as the Sweat Lodge, Chanupa (Pipe) ceremonies, Vision Quest and Sacred Fire Ceremonies. Our focus is in the work with the Alliance, a global family of people who walk a path of truth and hold connections with the work of the Sacred Fire. In this, we will focus a lot of our work with other spiritual communities in Brasil and South Africa and promote the transfer of knowledge, bringing people from different cultures and traditions together to learn ancient, sacred and new ways. The purpose of our spiritual work is to reintroduce and maintain a sense of family into our circle, with the knowledge we have gained along our way. The Red Path, the Sangoma, the Santo Daime and the Huni Kuin Kaxinawa all have a deep sense of family, and this sense of family is what we would like to focus on.
